Progress. Here we are. It’s summer. I’m fixin’ to have mas FUN. But admittedly,  I sometimes drink too much and write weepy blog posts, too .

I ride with the Rocky Mounts-Izze cycling team in Boulder, CO and work for VerdePR, the most rockin’ agency in all the land. I now enjoy getting massages more than studying how to give them. The Hype Machine is where I turn for new music, of which I have an insatiable appetite. I enjoy a bold (re: sludgey) cup of coffee and Core Power yoga to stretch my often stiff bod. My car is probably littler than yours. And finally…I’m a staunch middlest, meaning my heart bleeds neither for the left or right.

About  a year removed from when I first started this blog, some things have changed some things have stayed the same. I’m 25 now when before I was 24 on the cusp of…

I’m still a bike rider. I’m in school now at Boulder College of Massage Therapy. I still drink mad coffee. I’ve been to Europe now. I’m more open to electronic music now although I listen mostly to that “healthy mix of R&B (rap and bullshit) and indie hipster crap.”

Some favorites as of today (2/27/09) are: Black Milk (Tronic), Bobby Caldwell (the genius behind Common’s “The Light”), Biggie (NOTORIUS!), Dwele (Sketches of a Man), reggae tunes (turn it up selector!), Cut Copy, 88 Keys, El Perro Del Mar, Adele, Brand Nubian, and Flight of the Conchords cause they’re funny and good (rare).

I live in Boulder with Clare, I live a simple life, I live the life I want, I’m happy with a pinch of anxiety.

I can safely say that riding a bike on a dirt farm road with the heat of a Summer’s day on your skin and good music in your ears is the closest I’ve come to experiencing heaven. I’m 24 going on 25 and I live in Boulder, Colo.
